A nerdy PS: that's Tales FROM Topographic Oceans, which is still periodically enjoyed through my own resplendent pair of vintage, midrange-forward Klipschorns. : ) Thanks for curating a great listening experience each week!
all great standards! here's one for you. If I sell vinyl and have a credit at a shop. is it fair to use that credit during RSD? I'm not sure if that's considered poor form.
I vote for physical media, always!
The plural of vinyl is spelled collection 🙃
Maybe both physical and file?
Re: used vinyl, here in Dallas we continue to mourn one of the all-time great shops: Bill's Records, which was operated for more than 40 years until Bill left the Earth. Perhaps Ambient Audiophile has heard of it: https://www.dmagazine.com/frontburner/2023/05/three-years-after-his-death-dallas-still-honoring-local-music-icon-bill-wisener/

Absolutely! I think that's totally cool.
